Our Mission

The mission of the Legion of Mary is to give glory to God through the holiness of its members and the salvation of souls, accomplished under the maternal leadership of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Formed in prayer and strengthened by sacramental life, Legionaries unite themselves to Mary’s humility, obedience, and burning charity, becoming instruments of Christ in the world.

Through personal apostolic service, the Legion seeks out the forgotten, the suffering, the indifferent, and the searching, bringing to them the love, truth, and mercy of Jesus Christ. Whether through visitation, evangelization, encouragement, or quiet works of mercy, every action is offered as a continuation of Mary’s own mission: to bring Christ to souls and souls to Christ.

In this way, the Legion of Mary forms saints, builds up the Church, and advances the Kingdom of God, one soul at a time, to Jesus through Mary.
